HVP Plantations will shortly be commencing a roading operation within Mystic MTB & Flight Park.
This operation will see the removal of some trees along the road edge in preparation for roading works that will ensure that the roads are ready for future haulage operations and safe for recreational users. In order to make the site as safe as possible there will be some intermitent road and mtb trail closures and access to the North East Victoria Hang Gliding Club Launch Pad will be limited.
This operation will take place from Monday 29 August 2016 and is expected to be complete within the week. But, as always operations are weather dependent so please follow the signs and directions of the operator at all times. Staying clear of the site helps the operator to complete the job as quickly and safely as possible and as a result minimise the time that trails and access roads are closed.
As part of their commitment to ensure a safer plantation for all to enjoy, HVP Plantations have been working with Alpine Community Plantation to ensure that this operation causes minimal disruption to our community user groups. Once the operation is complete HVP Plantations will inspect the area to ensure that it is safe for public access.
